Page Counter Issue

Hi,
I have create an AICC/SCORM course, and I have excluded three pages for Page Counter, which I want them to open as popups, and after doing that in the Inheritance properties the total number of pages displaying counts the three pages in the page counter too, which I have excluded in the inheritance. Can you please give a solution on this.
