BenLong time no chat... thanks for the response here. I too am having the same difficulty, but it works on my system when published to the LMS but not on anybody else's system. However, I am a bit confused at exactly what you recommended as I find two places to do what you have partially suggested. I can go to the "On Click" tab of the button and elect the Action of GO TO, then select a Target and then enter a URL and then check the box for Open in Separate Window. The issue is it appears to work, but the URL does not stay put in the box if I open the property box again. The URL I am putting in there is just an html link to a live folder which contains a word or PDF document. And the last part of the URL is the word or PDF document.Again, it appears to work, but when I reopen the Property box for the button and revisit the ON CLICK tab, the Web Address: box appears blank but in the interim, the function works. This bothers me and I don't want to partially get something to work if there is a better way to do it.From what I gathered you are recommending that we Add an Action and then On: MOUSE CLICK, ACTION: (this is where I get lost...I tried using previously "Launch Program/Document" and I am getting the same results as the previous poster. My dilema is the same, I need to launch a Word or PDF document, and not in the same parent window. I see the Launch in Separate Window feature works, but cannot get the URL entry to stick if I point it to a URL that ends in a .doc or .pdf location. Can you help?Is there a trick to getting the HTML LINK icon to appear, under what circumstances would this appear... I was thinking I could click on an image or button and then use it, but no such luck as of now. Thanks Ben for your assistance or others who reply / post.Bradley
