I had a similar problem in the past but it was not so intense. then I had embedded my narration in swf files and I guess the bigger the file the longer it took for the next page to load. but I only experienced seconds - worst case scenario - of delay. In the new version of Lectora 2008 they use flash compression for the audio and video (convert to flvs) and things run smoothly. But, there are some problems in the published files if you do not have a simple next/back action on your pages. If you need to syncrhonize very long narrations (over a minute or two) using flash audio means you cannot use the events of the Audio Editor, which meeans you have to synchronize your elements for each page manually. If you have time and the content is not that large perhaps you could do it, but beware it is very time-consuming.You could also try using wma files or wavs. You will find in the forum several posts about mp3 trouble and various solutions too. Give it a search if you currently use mp3s!Also check this post for the troubles of 2008Audio stops when action is clicked. This is still unresolved. And another thing that I don't know if you have already noticed. I gather you use png with transparency for your grahics. Try switching to gifs because IE 6.0 and earlier does not support the transparency of the png files.theoni
