Hi, i am new to lectora and have only started using the UI and finding my way around. I have used many tools in the past such as Camtasia Studio and Snagit plus Swishmax. I have a question that was posed to me and I would be grateful for your views:
"I’m still not clear however on text input – eg the example of logging in – I can see how the screen could be replicated but if I want the learner to do the actual text input of name and password can I replicate that and on successful entry of the correct/instructed text then take to the next screen or flag an error if text input wasn’t correct?"
From what i understand the user wishes to try and validate a field type and depending on the outcome this would then lead to a message or a different screen. I did quickly look at actions and also fields. Surely if an actual name and password was to be entered then this would need to reference a list of valid details in order to return a y/n response. I'd be grateful for your views on whether this can be done and indeed how. much appreciated and I'll gladly help others with camtasia studio queries (I've trained over 1000 users in face to face classes).
