I am in the "testing out" stage of Lectora to see if this program can do what I want it to. We are in the business of creating training programs for the plastics industry. Here's how our courses work. We show the user about 1 minute of video then the video stops and a question is asked. If the user gets the question correct, they move on to the next video segment. If they get the question wrong, they go back and watch that piece of video that will give them the answer to the question (usually it is not the entire segment that they just watched, just a portion of it). Then the same question comes up. Again, they have to get the question correct in order to move forward, if not, they go back and watch the video segment again. In playing around with Lectora, it seems that the best way to ask the question for us is not to use the "question" feature but to just use a blank page where I can import a .bmp file that I already have that has the question on it with a picture and then use buttons for the answers. We do not need to keep track of their "score" because eventually they always have to get the question correct to move on. Most of our questions are T/F or multiple choice. When the user chooses their answer, two things need to happen, first an audio file needs to be played that says, "incorrect" or "correct" and then they need to be pointed to either the video next segment or they need to go back and rewatch the video segment that just played (which I assume has to be its own video file since I don't see a way to play just a portion of a video file). Can someone please tell me if this is possible?
Thanks!
