RKBrodeur - I too had problems with this. The animated characters will work with other audio besides mp3. I have found that when you publish these with audio compression on in the publishing settings, Lectora will convert the mp3s to .flv files. This, unfortunately, causes the characters to stop functioning. I have found that if you turn the audio compression off when publishing these Lectora will leave the audio files alone, I use .wav, and your characters will work. The only downside to this is just the difference in file size between .wav files and other compressed formats like flv or mp3, but the audio quality is better with uncompressed files.Hope this helps.
