Mute Not Working in Lectora 17

I reluctantly switched to 17 and know I have issues. I usually wait for bugs to be worked out but have to jump in.
This is my course build:
5 videos - 1 plays per page
The first video is placed globally.
At the start of each page (2 - 5) the content of the video object is swapped with a different video resource.
My mute and unmute buttons are placed globally.
The mute/unmute media actions on those buttons will not work.
Any ideas?

Doesn't it work at all? I've tested v17 with a title created in v16 and the Mute / Unmute buttons on title level do work (for mp3s) but the muting isn't remembered on the next page any more.
You can try to uncheck "Publish for Seamless Play". There are several features that don't work with seamless play but do without it.
Not at all. "Publish for Seamless Play" is off.
I had to OnMouseClickRunJavascript and mute/unmute with vanilla Javascript. Wish I didn't have to because there are people here that do not know Javascript. They may not be able to work on my files if needed.
