multiple browser windows

when we are publishing our titles, we have lessons open in new bworser windows. the problem is, if you have a title with a lesson in it and you open it up, it works fine. But if that lesson has a link in it that needs to open in a new window, it won't. How many new browser windows can lectora handle and is there a way to make all things open in a new window when you tell it to?
