Monitor Size

The size of your monitor does not really affect how the audience will view the course. What does matter is the screen resolution. In the office I use 2x 19" TFT panels, at home I use one 22" widescreen panel. The resolution at work is 2560 x 1024, at home it will be 1680 x 1050.Still, after all these years, the most common used format to surf the web is 1024 x 768. This was the result of a poll among a number of our customers (due to policy I cannot provide you with poll results). So we usually develop courses in a format in which they will see the entire course without scrolling on a 1024 x 768 monitor. Ususally this means courses will be slightly wider then they are high. Mostly around 900 x 700 when not working fullscreen. The custom SCORM wrapper of our LMS takes care of the rest.Much like Laura, I work with both my screens. One for Lectora, the other one for source. It is really handy to work with and can recommand it to anyone who is developing from some kind of source.
