Modify AICC Lesson Status variable to Exempt

We are using coursemill LMS and would like to change the AICC Lesson Status to "exempted" when they have successfully passed the pre-test. We get an LMS error when we use the modify AICC Lesson Status variable and set it equal to "exempted". Any suggestions?

That is not a valid status according to the SCORM specification, and so CourseMill does not allow it.

Instead maybe use the score in some creative way to indicate that someone was exempted. Set AICC_Lesson_Status to 'completed' and set the AICC_Score to 0 which would never be a passing score so completed with a score of zero means they are exempt.
