Menus created from TOC - do they work on Tablets?

Hi guys, we are finally moving our courses to tablets, and part of the process is to move from a side TOC to (hopefully) a menu running across the top of the course, created dynamically from a hidden TOC. What i wanted to know is if these menus work "on click" as well as hover - not much call for hover events on a tablet, so need the user to be able to press the menu with their finger for it to drop down.

We receive our test units (iPad, Android tablet) next week, but wanted ot get a head start on whether this is a suitable approach.

Cheers for any/all replies.

We tested it with Ipad and Android and it worked for us. But what we needed was a webfont because with default font many links in submenu with not so much margin went in two lines and we didn´t won´t that to happen =)

Thanks for the tip on the webfont. Will look closer into this when we start our new template using the menu system. :)
