Create a page with an onshow action that opens the pdf. Then just link to that page from the menu.

rwalters, first off - thank you for responding to my question. On your post about using the Go to web address action. Can you explain what you mean by "just make sure the file is added to the project..."? Thanks

Or, have you tried using the "Go to web address" action instead? Just make sure the file is added to the project and all you have to do is put in the name of the file for the web address. I usually link to pdfs with that action rather than the open attachment action.

If you click and drag the file onto your title (the main window), it will ask if you want to add the file as an attachment. Click Yes and it will store it in the extern folder. It'll publish it in the same directory as your title pages. So, if the name of your pdf were myfile, you would just put myfile.pdf as the address when using the Go To Web action. Maybe Launch a program/document would also work. Try both if you want.

Edit: Maybe this will also show up in the attachment list after you add it as an attachment. I'm doing stuff the old way before the L11 updates.

Further edit: Yes, it seems just adding the attachment should make it show up for you. Meanwhile, I should learn how to open attachments the new way (but the old way works all the same).
