Menu and transparency - Lectora X.

I need to use the menu feature for each section in a presentation and want to have an image under the entire menu on the left side of my screen. Pretty easy stuff.

When I create the menu and place it with the background highlight color set to transparent the lower links vanish when I hover over the upper links.

Is this a bug in the programme or am I doing something wrong.. Not familiar with the product as this is my first day of using it..
