Menu and transparency - Lectora X.

If I create a vertical menu with say 4 or 5 menu item links. I set the highlight background to transparent and the background to be transparent. So I just want a menu with a rollover highlight colour on the text only. I want to place an image under the entire menu. When I test, I rollover the top link.. the other links go transparent also. If I rollover the bottom link it's ok. But the preceeding links make the lower links transparent..
