I noticed that if I create a matching question that contains distractors on each side, the student can match the distractors without penalty.
This is a student error, but it doesn't count against them. Of course, it doesn't help them, either.
This happens regardless of the setting of the "Grade each choice" checkbox.
I am not sure if this should be considered a bug or not, but definitely mark it down as an idiosyncrasy.
