Mark chapter as cmplete with tick?

i've run it in debug mode and i can see that when i reach the last page in a chapter the variable is getting changed to 1 but when i go to the home page the group actions aren't activated.Also when i look at the group actions individually - for example i double click on the ShowTick1 action the On field is empty - not sure if this is how it should be? it is grayed out and doesn't let me select anything there ?
