Lectora Viewer failure in XP.

Hello everyone. I am in the final testing on a Lectora stand-alone CBT. The course was created on a windows 2000 machine with 256MB of ram and a P4 1.3 Ghz processor. The viewer/final file seems to run fine on the creation computer. When I burn the file to CD and test it on an XP system (1GB ram, P4 3 Ghz processor) I get the following error:Lectora Viewer Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The program never opens. I have also tried copying the file to the XP system and running it from the hard drive. Has anyone else had problems running the single executable file on an XP system?

Try SP2 for 2005.Tim V

Running XP with sp2 upgrade and have seen issues with the cd drivers and scanning applications causing somthing like the error you are seeing.I put the sp3 from microsoft and one update from HP and have not seen the problem recently.Running 2005 an a HP 1.4 machine with 256 memory. Not sure if the problem is fixed with the updates or just waiting to happen again. But have not seen it in the last 2 or 3 weeks

I am encountering the same problem. The title is created in on one machine, published to .exe, sent as an attachment, and on the recipient systems give the same error msg. What gives? BTW, the systems are XP and W2K all with current SP's installed.Petra
