Lectora Versions

You may not need all of the new design features offered by new versions of Lectora, but you're also getting upgrades to the underlying code in your pages. This can impact how browsers (and browser updates) released after 2007 display your content. Don't think of it just as just a feature upgrade. If you are getting tech support calls on your courses, you might consider upgrading Lectora and republishing. If nothing else, consider upgrading every 2 years or so.

asledge said:In a world where not everyone can afford the annual upgrades, it would be useful if 2007 users (for example) could open advanced versions of Lectora 08/09 and vice versa. I find this extremely challenging for knowledge sharing with my peers and my learning consultant. The compatability pack that Microsoft uses is quite helpful and still deters the end user in case they haven't purchased MS 2007 yet.
