Lectora Version used to create a course, how to find?

Really there is no way from the source file to know what version it was created from. First what version of Lectora do you have is important to whether it will open the source file.

If you have Lectora version 5.0 and the source file was created with versions 6 through 9, then you will not be able to open the file and there you have an idea what version is the source file.

In the same way if you have Lectora version 9.3 and the source file was created from an earlier version, then you will be able to open the source file.

In any case once you publish to say, HTML, those published files will take take the version of the Lectora program used to open/edit it.

Hope this helps.

There is a guy here who has just been handed Lectora source files and he doesn't know what version of Lectora was used to create them. It just occurred to me I don't know how to tell! Any Ideas folks?
