Lectora template with essential elements required for Section 508
June 29, 2016 12:00 AM
It is my understanding that Karen Ngowe, Senior Instructional Technologist Centers for Disease Control (CDC) created a Lectora template with essential elements required for Section 508 accessibility in an eLearning course. I’m trying to get my hands on this template so I can use it for the elearning course I need to develop. I was told it is on the Trivantis site, but I can’t seem to locate it.

@cdckaren - People are asking for your content by name :) Have you had a chance to upload it yet? I don't see it in the Share section.
Oh I forgot to ask is there any documentation on using the template? I have the How to Use Lectora to Create Accessible Courses job aid, but know it is not specific to this template.
Hi Tracy! You can access the 508 Templates by opening Lectora, and selecting "Templates Online" from the Getting Started Screen. Then navigate to the 508 folder on the right, and you can select from 2 sizes (800x600 or 1024x768). I hope this helps!
Unfortunately, there is nothing specific to this template, but the information in that article along with this How-To Course should essentially cover the 508-related objects and options you'll find in there. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here!
Karen's course is now live :) http://community.trivantis.com/shared-content/luc16-lectora-online-508-template-draft/
