I am not familiar with how SumTotal handles all the test scores but if you have your test setup to be included in the overall score, then Lectora is sending that information over for SumTotal to record. If you want to be sure that is the case, just enable debug in the content and when you go through the course, you should see where that value is being sent to the LMS. You can then use that to contact SumTotal to see where exactly they are storing the failing scores so you can run reports or do whatever it is you would like with that data.
