Lectora, Safari, Macs and missing images
May 26, 2009 12:00 AM
Hello All
I am hoping you can help with two questions: 1) does Lectora officially support Safari on a Mac? 2) has anyone experienced the following?
We are currently using Lectora Professional v9.
We have created a course that is doing strange things when accessed on a Mac (OS 10.4.11 and 10.5.5) using Safari 3.1.2. We are using Oracle iLearn and SCROM 1.2.
Initially, it runs OK. Indeed, it can run with no problems a few times (go out of course, go back in etc). However, on a few occasions, it has stopped displaying all images, just the image placeholders.
I am able to display the image using Ctrl >> Click and Display image in new window. I can copy the URL for the image and paste in a new window and is displays OK.
If I exist the course and go back in, the images do not return. It appears very strange behaviour and very inconsistent. The last time it happened, I had re-entered the course, click OK to resume from the last location and the images disappeared.
Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated. I have searched the forums, and nothing has helped so far.
Regards
Dave
