Lectora Publisher 11.2a SLOW and Crashing and Windows 8

I have been using a 10 year old machine that ran Vista using both Lectora 10 and 11 with no issue. About a month ago, I got an HP Envy running Windows 8. Lectora 10, Snap, all Adobe products... everything works great, except Lectora 11. I have had a screen sharing session with Trivantis and a LONG session with HP, with no solutions.

Basically, just opening L11 takes forever. If I click on an action, my screen turns black for a bit, then I get a window asking if "I want to wait for the program to respond" or "Close it". It seemed okay at first, but has just gotten worse.

Below is just a snippet of the MANY error logs I have found. The program acts the same with all services stopped, I have tried ridding on thumbnail view, etc. Nothing seems to help and I've gotten no answer anywhere. Also, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Lectora 11 several times. I am also attaching some screen shots, in case this helps.
