Lectora keeps crashing when editing content
September 6, 2013 12:00 AM
Hi there
I'm trying to edit a course that was created by an external supplier. Everything's going well until I hit the final page - Lectora stops working and I get this error message:

Any ideas what might be causing this? There are 6 courses in this series and 4 of those 6 cause this problem.
Thanks in advance

Why not contact the external vendor that created the courses? Maybe the .awt file got corrupted. If thats not possible contact Trivantis Support :)

Sometimes Lectora files get corrupted when edited by different editors (or for no apparent reason at all). The larger the difference in versions, the more chance you have that the project will break.
I suggest you check your project against DTD schema.
Schema can be found here: http://lectora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19086&highlight=schema
Validation tools aplenty here: https://www.google.lv/search?q=validate+xml+dtd
If you're not sure what to do, send the project to me at ss@intea.lv and I'll take a look.
