Lectora buttons no longer function in IE 9 after Flash code is sent
March 25, 2012 12:00 AM
We use the following code in Flash to display the Next button in a Lectora course after certain conditions are met (button46 is the HTML name of the Next button):
getURL("javascript:button46.actionShow();");
In IE 9, the Next button is shown when all required Flash objects are clicked, but then NO Lectora buttons function (Next, Back, Menu, etc.). The Lectora buttons appear to be clickable (you get the hand roll-over), but the button functionality does not work; you are stuck. I have verified that earlier pages' buttons function properly when there has been no Flash code sent. This is also an issue with courses published with earlier versions of Lectora (e.g., Lectora 2008) and viewed using IE 9.
This has always worked in IE 7 and IE 8.
I am viewing the course from our test server, not locally on my machine.
