Lectora 2008 painfully slow to use.

In addition to the file sizes, the policy of saving over the network bothers me. I know that Ludo has not had problems with it, but it makes me cringe. I'd suggest making a copy on your hard drive. At the very least, that'll let you rule out the network as a cause if the problem persists. I know it's company policy to save the files on the network, but could you establish a policy where you copy the project folder to your desktop for working? Then copy it back out to the network at the end of the day? Of course, if it is still slow on your desktop, then that's a moot point; I would side with Ludo and consider the SWFs.Kevin
