Lectora 16 Opens a Lectora window for external HTML files instead of in IE

I've noticed with the upgrade to Lectora 16 when in run mode, if I open a link to a file or anything external on a website, it opens in a Lectora window instead of in Internet Explorer like 11 and 12. Is there a reason and can this be changed to open in IE instead? We have a few internal sites that do not show the content in this window. See attached image.

The "Lectora window" behaves exactly like Google Chrome (it is, essentially, related to Google Chrome) so most websites should work as expected. If you need it to open in IE, you have to preview the course in IE.
A link will usually be opened in a new window of the same browser. While in Run mode or Preview (I think) it's Awesomium. To which format do you publish? - Your users won't view the course in Run mode. If you publish to HTML or Scorm and the user opens the course in IE the link will be opened in IE as well.
