Lectora 11: a transparent button to an image button
October 10, 2013 12:00 AM
I cannot figure out how to change a tsp button I have to an image button. It use to be in the properties pane of the button in the previous version of Lectora, now I can't figure out where to go.

I'm wondering if anyone is as annoyed as I am with this change. When you have actions that target specific buttons it's not just a simple fix to "swap out" buttons. Adding a three-frame is also awkward in 11. I can't imagine I'm doing it right, because it seems so "work-around-y," but I can't seem to figure out any other way.
With the changes in the question objects and how they are handled with actions under the form objects vs. on the on-change as they are in 10, we can't just go back and forth and make changes in 10 then go back to 11.
I certainly hope they revisit the buttons ribbon and allow it to have the same functionality as in 10 or I'll have a whole lot of re-work and duplication to do on a bunch of templates and documentation.
If anyone has found any better "double-top-secret-way" to swap buttons out (like we could do through Properties in 10), please respond -- I know I'd appreciate it!
Cheers!
Lisa
I think you'll have to just make a new Custom Button with the images you want and copy the actions from you existing button and paste them on the new button.

Yep, you can't change button types on the fly in L11. Spoiler alert: you can't change question types on the fly anymore, too.
