Layering

Susan,Lectora always draws the objects on the page in the order they are arranged in the left hand pane from top to bottom. So the object at the very bottom of the tree will be layered on top of your other objects. This does cause a problem if you have objects inherited at the title/chapter level. Since they will always be layered below any object on a page there is also an option within the object's properties to be "Always on top". This overrides where it is placed in the left hand pane and forces it above any other objects that have this option unchecked. Of course, if you have two objects set to be "Always on top" then it will show them in the order they are arranged in the left hand pane.
