Launching external .exe files...possible?

Launching a single exe file doesn't work for me either with Lectora 2008.Whether I "Launch program/document" or go to a "web address" (pointing to the exe as an attached file), it works fine in regular HTML but not in SCORM on the LMS. It gives the typical "This page cannot be found" message.However, if I upload the exe to an external server and point to that, it works fine via the LMS.So for me, kballard was right: "most browsers will not simply execute a program because of security reasons".
