JAWS and mouseover text

When I include mouseover text in a Lectora course, JAWS hasn't read it. When the learner navigates to any page, JAWS immediately reads all of the on screen text, with the exception of mouseover text. When the learner mouses over an object to trigger the show of text, JAWS does nothing.
