JavaScript Title Manager

Hi All,

I'm using Lectora V17. I have a project with a test that is set to email the test results at the end. When I publish to HTML I get the error "One or more forms, tests or submit actions have their information submitted via EMail which is not supported using JavaScript Title Manager. Either change the type of submittal, or de-select the JavaScript Title Manager option". The checkbox for de-selecting the JavaScript Title Manager is not available in V17. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Jennifer are you using V17 or V16 of Lectora? It works in 16 but not in 17 for me.

I tested this out by creating a test that submits results via email. Then published via HTML. I got the error so I cancelled out and republished to de-select the option. It's showing for me....

Is there an answer for this? I have the same issue . I have just upgraded to V17 and cannot set up for email or publish to html as there isn't the option to deselect JavaScript.

Thanks

Tim

Do you have 'Seamless publishing' off ? Because that forces the published document into a iFrame and thus some Javascript might not work. Always do a test with Seamless off, and always mention if its off or on, when either submitting a bug or asking for help here.

Checking the image, noticing 'Seamless' is on. Try disabling that.

Its not the seamless thing. My understanding now is that 17 does not support Custom results submission.

Meaning that a standalone offline published module cannot incorporate email or submission to google drive.

I have found this out from local support in Australia. I am surprised this hasn't been more widely communicated.

For my needs I want the versatility of being able to set up submission with email.

Thanks

You can always pass data to a Javascript/Serverside file( PHP eg. ) to communicate that data eg. a mailadress..

So your course will be running standalone offline, but when the data is passed a connection needs to be available, and then it can send the data...

I have the same issue. I cannot set up for email or publish to html as there isn’t the option to deselect JavaScript. I am trying to allow the end user to email a Form.
