Is this a good idea?

Hi,My course template is spoofed into many small images, which all load at different rates. Each time the user clicks the next button, all of the images load again and it is a number of seconds before the user can effectively read the screen. I am looking for a solution to this and would like a few opinions on whether this is a good idea:I am considering creating a large text box to cover the entire screen that says, "loading...". I would make the box initially visible and set an action to the text box to hide it on show of the page. I would make it the first object on the page. In theory, the result should be that the first thing the user sees is the "loading..." message, then once all of the objects on the page are loaded, the text box would be hidden and the users would see the screen with all of the images displayed at once.Do you think it would be distracting for the user to see "loading..." on each page?Is there any better way to delay the visual to allow all of the images to load before the user sees them? Thanks!Jenn Edited By: TheJenn on 38579.5019097222
