Is Lectora the tool of choice?

If you must present a lot of information that will appeal to different audiences, then Lectora is the tool of choice. For example, I create custom popup windows to present more info about a topic. I am not familiar enough with the testing component to offer any advice on that. Also, Lectora is good for organizing your information into sections. Great if you want users to refer to your info later, like an encyclopedia. If you do a lot of branching scenarios (think "Choose your Own Adventure") or if you do software simulations, then another application may work better. I know you can import Captivate into Lectora, but since I'm still learning the application, I use only Captivate for those kind of courses.
