Intergrating two lectora titles - HELP!

Yes and unfortunately there is no real easy workaround. Here are the major problems. - Question variable names - If you do not assign names, Lectora will assign them and they may conflict with ones already in the title. In that case, Lectora creates new variable names which is fine unless you have custom actions using those variable names. So, your workaround is to assign your own variable names.- Worst one is shape and image names created by Lectora for drawing and pasted objects. 2007 is getting a little better but not much. If both developers add say an arrow or block, they could easily get assigned the same name "shape 1001". When you merge the two sections, bang, there is a conflict. Today there is no real easy around this. The workaround I use is to slice the title into two parts and make two titles and have one link to the next. That works fine but it does not support a single table of contents for both. I have suggested some method of assigning object names which would allow us to prefix them. Worst case they need a tool that would do this for us on existing titles because people do not always think that far ahead. Example, copying and pasting pages from one title into another. I recommend you post a suggestion to this effect in the Suggestions area.
