Integrator for PowerPoint

Danielle,The images imported from PowerPoint do not retain their original file names (we can't get that info out of Powerpoint). The names that show up in the left hand pane in Lectora are the names of the objects as PowerPoint calls them ... so you will probably lose your names for the text blocks also.If you created a single image in PowerPoint ... the object will come across as a single image ... if it's grouped, the group will be split and you will get individual objects for each object in the group.Text font sizes are reduced approximately 70% because PowerPoint uses a much larger font than it claims. Try this ... go into PowerPoint ... edit a text block ... select the text and copy it. Switch to Lectora and paste ... the text that comes across (RTF) is MUCH larger than it is represented in PowerPoint. If you edit the new block in Lectora ... you will see the same font size as PowerPoint claimed ... but the actual text is MUCH larger in Lectora than in PowerPoint. That is why we reduce the text fonts about 70% when importing from PowerPoint because we know the desire was to create a proportional slide as represented by PowerPoint.Tim V
