Indicating correct answer
May 29, 2014 12:00 AM
Hello
I'm using the current version (v11.3.2).
In multiple choice, multiple select and true/false questions, when the learner has selected the incorrect answer, I'd like the incorrect answers to fad(change) to grey, thus indicating the correct answer.
Is there a built in way to do that? Is there some other way to indicate the correct answer?
Thank You

This will create something close to what you ask.
1. Create a black translucent object with 50% opacity with Photoshop and save it as PNG with transparency on. It should look gray.
2. Import and duplicate it and put them on top of wrong answers.
3. Turn on "Initially hidden". Create actions to show them and put all actions in an action group.
4. Choose "Run Action Group" under action for wrong answer feedback.
You can show a different textfield over the incorrect answer with a grey font color and a white background. Or you can use javascript / jquery to change the color of the text.

Thank You, though I was looking to just change the font colour from black to grey in the incorrect answers. This places a grey box over the text, which becomes visible on the off-white backgoround.
