Imitating drag and drop

In my application I have to drag an object from one place on the screen to another and go to the next page right after the object is dropped. I tried doing that by using the question function, however I got stuck in trying to trigger the transition to the next page, because I can't use any buttons. Any ideas? I'm also open to other options of imitating drag and drop - it doesn't have to use the question function.
