Image FIles

SchwarzjI'd say that the file size "standard" to which you are requesting is relative to the implementation of the course and the parameters surrounding the network and/or Internet access of the clients who will access it.In other words, if the project it to be exclusively run on the intranet, then the size tolerances will be much larger etc. However, as a rule I try to keep my images in 30 to 60k range [MAX] and never stack more than than two at that size on a page. This applies to Gif, JPG etc. I might go a little bigger if it's only a single image, but rarely. As a preference, I like to keep them under 30 to 40k, but that is not always feasible. Personally too, I don't like to have Lectora recompress them, as I do this first in Fireworks before I place them into the project.Videos really depend on connectivity speed and whether you have streaming or not. This can easily be tested with differnt size videos and test locally and on the Internet to see what size works best for your market.I know this doesnt give you too solid of answers, but I think you really knew you were looking for a cookie cutter that doesnt exist unless you define it locally.Hope this helps
