Solved

If I create multiple versions of a project in ReviewLink, how can I choose which version is updated?

For example, I am working on Lectora Desktop and have created Project X. After I published Project X to ReviewLink for the first time I made a lot of changes and decided to upload a new version of the project to ReviewLink. The new version was titled "Project X (2)" in ReviewLink. I assigned that version to reviewers and the made a number of comments. When I updated the project on Lectore Desktop and went to publish back to ReviewLink, I noticed it was only updating the original version, not "Project X (2)," which had the reviewers' comments. I can't find a way to publish updates to "Project X (2)". Is that an option?

Solution

Hi jtfourcats,

From what I understand about ReviewLink, any content that is uploaded and updated is dependent on the name of your course. If your course is called "Project A", and you upload it to RL, and then you created a completely separate course called "Project A" as well and publish to RL, it will ask if you want to update it, even if they are completely separate course files.

You can take this information and apply it to your existing course. You will need to rename your course in Lectora to "Project X (2)" by going to the Design Ribbon, Project Options, and update the Name to match with the RL course version you want updated: Project X (2)

Once the Course name is updated in Lectora, Save, and you should be able to publish to RL again and it will update that version now.

If you have any issues following those steps, please feel free to reach out to the Support Team at support@elblearning.com.

Thanks!
