IE 6 doesn't like Next button in assessment

Hi all,
We're encountering a bizarre problem that seems to be related to IE 6. A learner in our company who has IE 6 noticed that the Next button disappears if she accidentally fails to select a multiple choice radio button on an assessment question before clicking Next to go to the next question. She gets the message indicating she must select an answer, and when she clicks OK, the course page refreshes and the Next button has disappeared. She has to exit the course and go back in to proceed. I have not been able to duplicate this problem with IE 7, and IE 6 isn't used very often in our company anymore, so it's probably not a problem we have to worry too much about. Still, if someone with IE 6 has the problem, we'll get calls/e-mails, and I'd like to be able to either fix the problem or definitively explain that this is known problem with no fix, just exit the course and go back in.
Has anyone else encountered this issue with browsers, and if so, is there a fix? (Perhaps a setting in the browser?)
