The sizes described here are not out of the ordinary for such large presentations. Best practice here is to split into smaller units whenever possible. Publishing as sub-units (i.e. 1 large presentation becomes 4 small presentations with one unifying quiz) will keep file size manageable, reduce load time/save time, and reduce complications.
