HTML Output & Cookie issues

Is there a way to stop lectora modules (HTML output) from creating cookies, or at the very least stop it from embedding all the questions and answers in said cookies.
After 20 or so modules we seem to be hitting the 4k ceiling.
I know there are solutions for modifying content (assessment q & a to short names) but I'm wondering if there is way that does not involve gimping (for the lack of a better term) the courseware.
I have total access to the raw courseware and the server upon which the outputted content resides (IIS)

Have you got the 'retain answers/values between sessions' checkbox(es) ticked? If so, turning that off should help you as this quickly eats up the storage space available.
If you do have a need to retain the responses then shortening the text as you mention would be your best bet.
