How to show up a button by variables
October 23, 2015 12:00 AM
Dear All
I'm building my first e-learning with lectora.
The e-learning has a pretest which defines which parts are obligate to take and which are facultative. If the score of one chapter is more than 80% the content is facultative. Every chapter of the pretest has a variable which stores the result of this chapter. If all the obligate parts are made there should be a button that show up to continue to the final test.
I already can detect which parts are made by a variable. But my problem is the obligate parts are every time different.
That means if the parts A B and C are obligate and Part D is facultative, the button has to show up if A B and C is done. When a other user makes the e-learning A and D are obligate and C and D are facultative, the button has to show up if A and D are done.
Does somebody have an idea how to do this?
Many thanks to all responders.

Hi Jonas,
I just figured out how to do this myself for a course I'm creating. Attached is the source file for a course shell. I hope you can open it in Lectora and see the variables and how they are connected?
@dshapiro9464 Can you try uploading again? There was an error in the upload.
I tried again, but I am getting the error message "Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons." I am trying to load the Lectora file (.atw), not a published version of the file.
What is the format I can load to allow for him to see my source file - the variables and page set up?
