how to set a global variable

Not too hard. Here is what works for me. There may be other ways.1. Check retain variable between sessions. For question variables this is an option on the question. For other variables, use Tools >> Manage Variables and edit your variable.2. Publish the title using HTML and check the "Generate short ASCII HTML page names" box. If this is not checked, it seems that the titles have a hard time communicating.
