I am dying here and would so appreciate anyone's help who has advice!
Basic: I am trying to create slides that show bullet points at audio even points in a narration.
First (edit: and only) problem: recording a flash audio narration is easy, of course, using the Audio Recording Tool. The problem comes with then trying to do anything with that recording. Adding events is a nightmare, but I have to add events in order to have bullet points sync with the narration. This is likely a stupid question: is there a program I can purchase (obviously not associated with Trivantis) that allows me to record Flash audio AND add in event points that Lectora will import/recognize? I've tried the new Lectora with Camtasia, by the way, and this does NOT work (I can explain why not if it matters but won't bore you here).
DISREGARD THE FOLLOWING: figured this one out, I am an idiot! Second problem: I managed to PAINFULLY make my way through adding event points to a dummy narration that I have. On a slide, I created 3 separate text boxes. I then assigned the "event points" in the audio to a "Show" and then selected a text box. The problem is that when I preview the slide, the narration starts (good), but all points are on the screen from the get-go (bad)--in otherwords, in spite of having assigned event points, they all appear immediately, not one by one, as supposedly should happen with the event triggers in the flash file. Why?
I would love love love to hear from anyone who has had similar issues to hear your advice. Thank you so much in advance!
