Group invisible -> group visible...all group objects inherit visibility change?

Hello -

I have a group of objects that are set up as initially invisible. There are images and objects inside of this group that are are both visible and invisible.

I want to toggle the overall visibility of the group, but leave the elements inside of the group as their initial visibility, but when I toggle the visibility of the group, it turns on visibility for all objects contained in it.

Is it possible to leave the objects in the group as their default visibility while toggling the visibility of the group object alone?

Toggling in effect reverses the visibility of the objects in the entire group, no matter what their intial state. So if you have three items in a group with the group set to visible and and an action on the page makes one of the objects in the group initially visible, when you 'toggle' two of the items will show or hide the opposite of the one initially showing. You would need to remove those items from the group if you need them controlled separately. By nature object grouping allows you to control an entire set of items using far less actions.
