Grading without Submitting

Has anyone found a way to grade an exam without submitting it?We have a series of exams, 25 random questions each, that we would like to not have submit if the user fails the exam. If the exams didn't use random questions in sections, I believe I could set up a running variable. I am stumped and any advice would be appreciated!Thanks,Matt
