Full Time Position for E-Learning Designer - AMC Theatres

Responsibilities:
- Partner with subject matter experts to provide instructional design for asynchronous courses
- Define learning objectives for e-learning solutions
- Develop storyboards for content flow
- Develop SCORM-compliant e-learning modules from storyboards
- Load, test and evaluate programs in the Learning Management System
- Support content post-delivery
- Develop troubleshooting guides and documentation for e-learning applications
- Assist in the development of standard e-learning processes
- Create and implement measures to track outcomes and to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Partner and maintain strong interaction with subject matter experts and other team members to review and revise material as necessary

- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Training, Computer Science, or other appropriate field; or commensurate experience.
- At least 5 years experience in Instructional Design and corporate training experience preferred.
- At least 5 years experience in web design software; Lectora, Adobe CS4 Suite, and Captivate preferred.
- At least 1 year experience in sound authoring software; SoundForge preferred.
- At least 1 year experience in learning management systems administration.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge and skills in training needs assessment, training design and development methodology, and training evaluation/measurement (Kirkpatrick.) Ability to apply instructional and adult learning theories, accelerated learning principles, and use of assessments and evaluations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyze technical issues and recommend viable alternatives
- Intermediate skills required in instructional graphic design
- Ability to learn new applications quickly through self-study
- Ability to multi-task by working on multiple projects at once
