No dice running from a host either. Running Flash player 9.0.124 I think (it's set in the enterprise). The only thing that makes me believe that it's not an issue with the player is that I can hand code a page that is able to retrieve a value using EI just fine. Even locally. I even move it over to another machine. It retrieves just fine in Firefox - but not in IE6/7.
I can make my hand coded output fail in the same way if I remove the name attribute from the Object tag. I've attempted to hack the trivantis output sideways to verify that this is the issue. Tried on several machines, networks, and hosts, all with the same results. Returns null.
I think I'll just run it out to an swf on the root, inject all of the values I want to read in, and use FSO's to transport into my activities.
